The Manly Tennis Centre (MTC) was established in 1983 and is owned and operated by experienced professionals Scott and Carmela Blackburn, under a long-term lease arrangement with Manly Lawn Tennis Club.

The Centre is open and staffed seven days a week: Monday to Friday 8.00am – 9.00pm; Saturday and Sunday 8.00am – 6.00pm. (Times may vary due to club activities and court reservations).

The Centre’s six, well-lit mod grass courts are available for hire. Please call (02) 9977 3159 for reservations.  required.

MTC offers a variety of competitions and instructional tennis programs for beginning and advanced adult and junior players – and everyone in between! Whatever age or ability, Scott and Carmela’s experienced and supportive approach ensures a program that is right for you, whether club members, visitors, or the general public.

The highly popular MTC Ladies Competitions are held on Mondays, Tuesday and Fridays throughout each school term. Night Competitions are held on Tuesday and Wednesday nights from 8.00pm to 10.00pm.

Tennis lessons are offered 7 days a week by appointment. Individual lessons start at $40 for one half hour anytime and $70 - $75/hour depending on the time of day and day of the week. MTC provides a full-service pro shop which includes professional advice and fast turn-around custom racquet stringing.
