SPRING BADGE commences Sept 22 (Entries close Monday Sep 3)

The structure will be as follows:

1. Comprised of separate doubles and singles competitions

2. Doubles competition will be played from 1:00 – 3:00pm, Singles/Doubles played from 3:05pm TO 5.35pm

3. Both  competitions will be played on one court for one round comprised of 6 unisex teams of 2 persons only limited to a maximum of 3 registered players per team

4. The formats will be: DOUBLES – 3 consecutive tie-breaker (5 all) sets of doubles, SINGLES & DOUBLES – 4 tie-breaker (5 all) sets, SETS played in the following order unless agreed otherwise: SET 1 – Doubles, SET 2 - No.1 Singles, SET 3 - No.2 Singles,  SET 4 - Doubles

5. The teams finishing 1 and 2 at the end of 5 rounds will play a finals match only on the leading team’s home court.

6. Team entry forms will be available from Badge website.  Competitors must be registered members of Tennis NSW.

Annual NORTH v SOUTH Match Sept 15

Selections for the North v South match (which are customarily based on individual averages - with selectors’ discretion) should be available by 20^th August 2007. Venue is White City. Time 12 noon on single courts. Details from Badge website.

In the event that this match is washed out on 15^th September, the event will be abandoned for 2007.

End of Badge BBQ Aug 4:

Come join us in celebrating the end of a long Badge season on Saturday August 4 at the club. Contact Katie for details.

Parking Permits for Badge Visitors:

The car parking permits are available for you – for those wishing to park in the areas marked Ivanhoe Area – just come to the bar and hand your drivers licence in to the duty manager in return for a car parking pass – this allows you 4 hours parking (instead of the 2 hours as shown on the sign). At the end of the day we will return your licence in exchange for the parking permit. EASY!
